BK Subway Shooting Press Conference "Not a terrorist attack...no bombs on train"

"No more disrupting lives of normal New Yorkers. It has to end now. We are sick and tired of reading headlines about crime...I am committing the full resources of our state to fight this surge of crime, this insanity that is seizing our city because we want to get back to normal" Governor Kathy Hochul said Tuesday morning.

Does that mean Covid-19 is no longer the number one threat in NYC? I find Gov Hochul's words to be ironic and comical. I think New Yorkers know this means more police state.
